Admission Requirements

Applicants for admission to the MSc program in Silicon and Ferroalloy Production should hold a BSc degree or equivalent in materials science, metallurgy, chemical engineering or chemistry. Applicants who are not exempted from the English language requirement, must document that they have passed a recognized test in English; TOEFL with score 500 (170 comp.) or IELTS with score 5.0.

The program is suited for those:

• who require more education after the BSc
• who require professional upgrading after some years in industry
• who enjoy chemistry, physics and mathematics and want to use their skills to conquer technological challenges

The study programme requires discipline and stamina but will at the same time give you a rewarding two years study period
