Trondheim Immigration Office
Counter C at the Immigration Office at the Trondheim Police Department is now open from Mondays through Thursdays from 0900 to 1400, and is closed Fridays. On Tuesdays, Counter B in the main Police Department is open from 0900-1300 but only for simple transactions such as dropping off or picking up your passport after the Immigration Office has pasted in a new permit.
Counter C, in the main Immigration Office at the Trondheim Police Department requires a queue number and is where first-time permit applications must be made. You must also go to Counter C to pick up your passport the first time you are granted a work/residency permit.
This area is open from Mondays through Thursdays from 0900-1400, and is closed Fridays.
Counter B, in the main lobby of the Trondheim Police Department, will be open every Tuesday 0900-1300 to hand in passports for permit renewals, and for passport pick up, once the Immigration Office has pasted in a new permit (renewals only, which typically take one week to process).
Information is also available by telephone at 73 89 94 40, but this number is only staffed on Mondays through Thursdays from 0900-1100.
The Immigration Office is co-located with the Trondheim Police Department at Gryta 4, in downtown Trondheim.
