Open access journals at NTNU

The University Library has established a service called NTNU Open Access Journals for researchers and academic groups that would like to start up a peer-reviewed Open Access journal, or convert an already existing journal to Open Access.

The utility Open Journals System is a technical approach to publishing academic journals on the Web. OJS provides a convenient presentation of published articles, and makes it easy for search engines such as  Google Scholar to find articles and make them searchable. The utility also includes functions that allow users to administer the peer review of articles.

Each journal creates it own system for peer review and its own editorial board, which is responsible for the publication.
