Welcome to the Medicine and Health Library web site

The Medicine and health library is responsible for providing services to students and staff at NTNU, HiST and St. Olavs Hospital. We are located at the Knowledge Center at St. Olavs Hospital. The library has 300 study places, 12 group study rooms, and several computers with NTNU or HiST login. Some of our group study rooms are also available after library opening hours.

Library card

You can use your student ID card as a library card. See library lending regulations for more information.

We can help you

Our library staff speak English. Do not hesitate to ask us for help in searching for literature! You can also join one of our training workshops.

Open courses in English for Staff, PhD-students and master students Spring 2015:

Information skills training for PhD Wednesday 18.03.15 - Information and registration

Introduction to EndNote Wednesday 08.04.15 - Information and registration

How to access library resources

As long as you're connected to NTNU's net, you will not have a problem accessing the resources and services the library offers. This is because they check your IP against an allowed IP range. If you have an NTNU IP, you're allowed in, if not, you will be denied access. Read more about How to access library resources when not connected to NTNU's net
