Booking and registration in iLab systems

Register

All core facility users must use the iLab booking system, which requires a one-time registration. Once you are registered, the system will enable you to place service requests, provide required approvals, and monitor progress. Although registered at one core facility, you may get access to all core facilities at NTNU that uses iLab booking system.

To Create an Equipment Reservation or Reserve a Room:

Once you have received your login credentials, you can place orders and schedule equipment time.

  1. Navigate to the core page:https://my.ilabsolutions.com/service_center/show_external/3160
  2. At the upper right hand of the page, enter the user name and password provided by iLab and click the "login" button.
  3. Click the ‘Schedule Equipment/Room' tab and click on the ‘View Schedule' button next to the Equipment or Room of interest. Click and drag on the time frame you would like your reservation for.
  4. You will be asked to complete a form and provide payment information for your request before saving the reservation.
  5. Your reservation may need to be approved by the core, you can confirm this by viewing your "Home" page by clicking the "Home" button on the upper left corner of iLab.

To Create a Housing Animals Request or request Technician:
Once you have received your login credentials, you can place orders and schedule equipment time.

  1. Navigate to the core page: https://my.ilabsolutions.com/service_center/show_external/3160
  2. At the upper right hand of the page, enter the user name and password provided by iLab and click the "login" button.
  3. Click the ‘Request Housing or Technician' tab and click on the ‘Initiate Request' button next to the service of interest. Work through the request.
  4. You will be asked to complete a form and provide payment information for your request before submitting the request to the core.
  5. Your request will be pending review by the core. The core will add charges and submit it back to you for approval. Make sure to watch for an email from iLab regarding the update..
