You will learn how to navigate the library resources, use different search techniques, and use sources correctly.

NTNU Academic Writing is a web-based resource, helping students to write better papers, and assists them in finding information. The main target group are students writing their thesis. The website has been made by the NTNU University Library.

Everyone is welcome to use our website, also those outside of the NTNU!

All contents of this website are available for use under a Creative Commons License. Please do credit the NTNU University Library when used by other institutions, and feel free to get in touch with us if you wish to adapt parts of the content.

The website was first launched in 2004 as "VIKO - The Road to Information Competence" but on 16th of March 2017 the website had a major relaunch changing its name to NTNU Academic Writing.

The website relaunched again in the summer of 2022.

The sites are updated regularly.
