New funding to Master education on Balkan

8,5 million NOK to a project consisting of eight universities in five countries in the Western Balkans.

The goal of the QIMSEE project is to improve the quality of the master education within sustainable energy and environment at eight universities in the Western Balkans (QIMSEE – Quality Improvement of Master programs in Sustainable Energy and Environment). QIMSEE is a continuation of the SEEWB project* that consisted of five universities in the Western Balkans, while the new network joins eight universities in five countries in the Western Balkans in one and the same project. In Norway the coordinator is NTNU.

It is the sector management of the programme HERD Energy (The Programme in Higher Education, Research and Development in the Western Balkans, Programme 3: Energy Sector) which in its fifth allocation of research funding has decided to fund the QIMSEE project for the period 2014 to 2016 (2017).
