NTNU Alumni Summit 2020
NTNU Alumni Summit is an annual forum for development, networking and exchange of experience between our international alumni networks. The main goal is to connect the international networks more closely to our academic environments in order to foster more collaboration between NTNU and the working life.

Day 1: 13 October
Chapters – Status and Exchange of Experience
Day 1 will mainly focus on sharing experience and best practice. The aim of the session is to strengthen the connections between the chapters and to discuss future plans and priorities for NTNU’s international alumni activities.

Day 2: 14 October
Chapters and research groups: Matchmaking
Day 2 is a matchmaking session between alumni networks and NTNU’s academics. The discussions will emphasize how the alumni network can facilitate and promote contact between NTNU’s scientific and educational environments and potential partners in business, society, institutions for higher education and research and policy makers. The session’s outcome is an action plan for further collaboration.

Day 3: 15 October
Contributions to NTNU’s European Projects
Day 3 will provide updates on NTNU’s involvement in the EU framework program Horizon Europe and EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe – Erasmus+. There will be a joint discussion on how the alumni chapters can contribute to open doors to new partners.

Day 4: 28 October
Showcasing the activities
Day 4 will showcase the outcomes of the alumni activities to NTNU’s leadership. Best practice examples will be given and results of the matchmaking session between NTNU’s academics and the alumni networks will be presented. The session will conclude with a joint discussion on further development of the networks and mechanisms for strengthening the collaboration between the networks and NTNU.
