Øystein Hjorthol Opedal
PhD-student, MSc
oystein.h.opedal@ntnu.no
Institution: Department of Biology, NTNU
Research interests: I'm interested in various topics within ecology and evolutionary biology. My current main research activities concerns the evolution of plant mating systems, which I study using the Neo-tropical vine Dalechampia scandensas a model system. Our group study these plants both in the field, in the greenhouse and by molecular-genetic methods. I am also interested in understanding how alpine plants, and plant communities, respond to environmental change.
