Solving the global climate problem

Solving the global climate problem

EIT Climate-KIC is a Knowledge and Innovation Community focusing on developing solutions to tackle climate change. A large EU-funded network of businesses, research organisations, public bodies and education institutions are working together to support and enable knowledge based entrepreneurship and innovation which in turn can reduce climate impact and create a more sustainable world.

For students

Both education and entrepreneurship activities are available for you to let your inner entrepreneur grow as you learn more about how we can handle climate change both on a local and international level.

For scientists

Both funding and network is available for making your research applicable, and taking you one step closer to commercialization of your research.

For businesses

Engaging scientists and research institutions in technology development is easier with low threshold for international collaboration and easily available funding resources. EIT Climate-KIC provides a large European network of established actors world-wide available for collaboration.

For public bodies

Different collaboration projects and events can help you build awareness and commitment to climate-friendly action, both among businesses and people.
