Background and activities
I’m responsible for telling what goes on in SFI CASA to staff and partners, authorities and the general public. This includes assisting the media as well as helping researchers convey their findings.
CASA is the follow-up to SFI SIMLab, which became world leaders in the design of crashworthy and protective structures. I wrote the popularized parts of SIMLab’s annual reports for several years and all of the final report.
I graduated from the Norwegian School of Journalism in 1974 and have worked from Vadsø in northern Norway to Peshawar in Pakistan. I have covered all topics save sports and celebrities and have worked in radio, newspapers and magazines.
I am happily married, live in Bakklandet in central Trondheim and sing in the men’s choir Svartlamon Hardkor.
