About

Research topics:

My research concerns control system functionality for autonomous ships. In autonomous ship operations, the control system needs to take over tasks that are traditionally performed by the operator, which introduces additional dynamics in the control loop. Research topics include:

• Formal methods for analyzing dynamics in the mission and guidance layer
• Sea state estimation
• Hybrid control of marine vessels
• Mathematical modeling of marine vessels
