Background and activities

She holds a PhD degree in Computer Architecture from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain and a master degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Tehran, Iran. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU. Her research interests are Low-Power VLSI Design, Reliability, Memory Design, Emerging Technologies, and Computer Architecture. During her PhD and Postdoc, she has been involved in several EU-funded research projects. Meanwhile, she has received two postdoc fellowships, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship and Alain Bensoussan Fellowship (ERCIM).

Currently, she is working on the research project that investigates Low-Power and Fault-Tolerant Cache Memory Design Bottleneck through a Combination of Hardware and Software approaches (PALMERA). PALMERA has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 799481.
