Background and activities

I did my five year masters degree in materials science and engineering at NTNU. The final year was spent at Tohoku University in Japan, where i wrote my masters thesis on the mechanical properties og bulk metallic glasses at low temperatures.

The topics of my PhD research are the magnetic and magneto-optical properties of metallic glasses. My work consists of a combination of simulations using the Thermo-Calc software, and experimental verifications.
