Gunhild Setten
Background and activities
I am on sabbatical leave, August 1 2021 - July 31 2022.
I have for more than 20 years worked on a diversity of issues related to landscapes and the production of socio-natures: outdoor recreation, agricultural policies, heritage management, and the movement of species. Cutting across my work is an interest in human-nature relationships and moral geography, i.e. the interrelationship between landscapes and moral values, normativities and judgments.
My professional networks are mainly based in Australia, Sweden and the UK. I have been visiting researcher at University of Melbourne, University of Wollongong, Gothenburg University, Uppsala University and The James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen. I have also spent an academic year at The Centre for Advanced Studies in Oslo.
