Background and activities

I am PhD student at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). My research interests are fabrication on bio-mimetic microstructures and evaluation of the heat transfer performance of the surface with microstructures. I was born in Incheon, Republic of Korea. I have a master and bachelor degree in Nuclear Engineering from Seoul National University (SNU). 

 

Research Highlight

Controlling the wetting state transitions with bio-mimetic hierarchical conical microstructures.

Observation of different droplet behavior on the heated microstructured surfaces.

Identification on superimposed Density Wave Oscillation on Pressure Drop Oscillation.
