About

Background:

I studied civil engineering at NTNU with specialization within computational methods for structural mechanics. Spring of 2015 I wrote my master thesis in cooperation with Toyota Motors Europe with the title "Impact Loading on Parts made of injection-moulded PP"

Research:

I started my Ph.D. within the new SFI CASA (Centre for Advanced Structural Analaysis) fall of 2015, with the title of "Testing and modelling of multi-material joints". The intended approach is split into an experimental and numerical part. The goal with the experimental part is to establish an experimental regime to characterize multi-material joints. For the numerical part the goal is to develop a macroscopic numerical model that capture the key phenomena observed in the experiments.
