More than 20 years work experience as a researcher at SINTEF Energy (Trondheim, Norway).

Jørn Stene holds a 30 % position as associate professor at NTNU, Dept. of Energy and Process Engineering. He teaches TEP4260 "Heat Pumps for Heating and Cooling of Buildings" (Spring semester) and TEP16 "Heat Pump Technology" (Fall semester). He also supervises project and Master students.

Jørn Stene also works as a consultant in COWI AS, where he was employed in 2009 as a specialist in heat pumps and cooling systems.
