Background and activities

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Industrial Ecology Programme. My research interests focus on exploring the mix of technological solutions, lifestyles and policy actions that can support the transition towards sustainable societies. Therefore, I want to combine methods of industrial ecology (e.g. input-output analysis and life cycle assessment) with integrated assessment modeling.


I did my PhD project at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany. My previous work mainly focussed on the assessment of biomass-based systems using LCA and IOA.
