Background and activities

I started my PhD at the Department of Computer Science at the NTNU campus of Gjøvik in April 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, I started remotely and was only able to attend physically starting August 2020.

Prior to that, I graduated from the French engineering school Institute of Optics Graduate School (IOGS) located in Palaiseau (France) with an Engineering Degree for the years 2016-2019, and also with a Master degree in Image and Signal Processing from the University of Paris-Saclay for the academic year 2018-2019. Therefore, I have a background in applied optics, mathematics, physics and computer science.

Currently, my PhD topic is the following

Snow Imaging: Optical properties and Appearance models

As stated in the title, my main focus will be on snow imaging. The main idea is to go from a 2D snow scene image to a 3D model of a snow scene.
