The board shall ensure that the activities in the work plan are completed within the defined period. The Director of the NTNU Energy Transition Initiative reports to the board.

Since the agreement on NTNU Energy Transition Initiative was signed in 2015, substantial effort has been put into establishment of international collaboration with some of the world´s leading experts. In addition to the board and management team, NETI collaborates with an international advisory board consisting of the following researchers:

The board shall:

  • Monitor the implementation of NETI as well as the deliverables
  • Assess the compliance with the work plan and communication plan
  • Act as a discussion partner for the Director on strategic choices
  • Approve major changes to the work plan and communication plan 
  • Guide the management team in revisions of the work plan and communication plan
