Employees at HUNT Research Center

  • Management

The management at HUNT Research Center is responsible for ensuring that the HUNT data is utilized correct and optimally. This involves safe storage of data and samples and making the material available for research projects that increase knowledge about health and disease.

The management is an advisory body for the general manager and consists of the managers of the various units, as well as a representative from scientific staff at HUNT.

Ledelsen ved HUNT forskningssenter har ansvar for at HUNT-materialet blir utnyttet optimalt. Dette innebærer forsvarlig lagring av data og prøver og tilgjengeliggjøring av materialet for forskningsprosjekt som øker kunnskap om helse og sykdom.

Ledelsen er et rådgivende organ for daglig leder og består av lederne for de ulike enhetene, samt en representant fra vitenskapelig ansatte ved HUNT.

Our purpose here at HUNT is to facilitate research leading to new knowledge about public health. Researchers associated with Norwegian institutions can apply for access to HUNT material. Researchers from other countries are welcome to apply in cooperation with a Norwegian Principle Investigator. The research projects must be approved by an ethics committee.
