Conference fee

We operate with two price categories, students and regular, in two dimensions, early-bird and late-bird. In addition it will be possible to order add-ons for accompanying persons. 

What is included in the conference fee?
For student and regular participation fee, the following is included:

• Opening reception 
• One social event during the week 
• Excursion 
• Conference Dinner 
• Lunch entire week of conference

It is not possible to receive discounts by not attending any of these. 

What are the prices for attending? 
Conference prices are as following: Deadline for Early-bird is April 1. 

Price for accompanying add-ons are:

• Accompanying adult dinner:     1000 NOK (includes conference dinner)
• Accompanying adult social:        800 NOK (includes reception plus one social event during the week)
• Accompanying adult excursion: 800 NOK (includes excursion)
• Accompanying child social:         630 NOK (includes reception, one social event plus conference dinner)
• Accompanying child excursion:  520 NOK (includes excursion)

The items listed above must be registered as an add-on in pair with a participant's registration. It is possible to include add-ons after you have registered as a participant. Any reduction of add-on follow our general cancellation policy (see below). Age limit for child is up to 16 years of age. 

All prices are inclusive MVA / VAT.

How do I register and pay for my participation?
Registration is done via our registration system that opens in January 2019. Payment is done via credit card. 

What is the deadline for early-bird?
The deadline for obtaining early-bird price is: April 1. 

Will I get a refund if I cancel my participation?
That depends on when you cancel. Our cancellation policy is as following:
Cancellation are accepted only by e-mail to conference secretariat (icsp2019@ntnu.no). The registration fee, minus an administrative fee of 500 NOK, is refunded 100 % by notification before May 1, 50 % by notification before June 1 and 0 % after June 1. 

Hotel

Hotel or accommodation must be booked by each participant privately. We have discounted prices at selected hotels. Read more here: https://www.ntnu.edu/web/icsp/practical-information. Note the given dates of deadline for booking with discounted rates. Any potential cancellation must be dealt with the hotel directly as their regulations apply. 

Financial support

A limited number of registration fee waivers is available for eligible participants who are attending the XV ICSP. They are allocated on the basis of the quality of the abstract submitted, and is mainly directed towards participants located in emerging economies.
