CANOPENER 2018 took place from the 10th to 11th May 2018, in Victoria, Canada, in conjunction with the 233rd ESC meeting in Seattle, Washington, from 13th to 17th May 2018.

The CANOPENER Project hosted a short program of talks and seminars at the Coast Hotel, Victoria, after which participants travelled to Seattle for the ECS conference and joined one of the short courses hosted by the conference on Sunday 13th May.
