This information is for NTNU employees who want to take advantage of the instruments in the Erasmus+ programme; here you can find opportunities for international cooperation and development of innovative projects.
Global Mobility
Norwegian higher education institutions can apply for funding of student and staff mobilities from partner universities outside EU. There is also limited funds available for mobility from Norway.
Call for proposals 2020
Application for grants is coordinated by Office of International Relations. Please find information on how to apply for Global mobility grants on the intranet “Innsida”.
Strategic Partnerships
Flexible projects for cooperation with partners from other countries in Europe. The projects’ duration is two or three years and could be both smaller and larger projects focusing on developing, and exchange of innovative results.
Capacity building
Projects that aim to increase the quality of higher education in partner countries outside EU. The focus will be capacity building, either on institutional level or system level.
Knowledge Alliances
Projects that aim to strengthen the link between higher education and business. Innovation and entrepreneurship is emphasized, together with development of new approaches to teaching and learning.
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree
Establishment of Joint Degrees. The degree must be offered by a consortium involving higher education institutions from at least three different programme countries.
Jean Monnet activities
This is relevant for academic environments at NTNU that do teaching or research within European integration, and contributes to introduce a European angle to education offered at NTNU. You can e.g. apply for educational programmes /courses and educational positions within European studies.
Project establishment support
DIKU provides support to encourage increased participation and reward from the Erasmus+ programme. Project establishment support (PES) may be used to prepare grant applications or project proposals directed towards centralized actions as:
- Capacity building
- Knowledge alliances
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees
- Jean Monnet Activities
DIKU offers a maximum of NOK 100 000 in funding through PES. There is no specific deadline. You can apply directly to DIKU. Please inform the Office of International Relations about all applications sent.
