It was a difficult task for the jury to choose a winner among these exquisite candidates, and eventually the jury had to crown two winners: Professor at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering Terese Løvås and head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering and Applied Geophysics Egil Tjåland!
Egil Tjåland has been a solid rock in a challenging time for the field, and through skillful communication work been able to able to change the angle in negative issues into something positive. He is very hard working and thinks strategic communications.
Terese Løvås has appeared in an interview on TV2 on biofuels, been interviewed by NRK radio and online, and most recently in VG about the VW scandal and the cheating with emission measurements. She recognizes the importance of researchers participating in the public debate, and that the public is informed about the field of her research field.
