MR core facility - Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
MR Core Facility
MR Core Facility offers the latest technology in MR-scanning as well as technical support and expertise to support research needs for in vivo MR imaging and spectroscopy in disease models in small animals as well as MR metabolomics of human tissue samples and body fluids and ex vivo high resolution NMR spectroscopy. In addition to providing access to MR instruments, we can facilitate in areas such as experimental planning, MR-sequence optimization, training for MR-scanning and guidance with post-processing of MR data. We also provide access to MR imaging and spectroscopy of patients and healthy volunteers, but with limited support.
The facility offer services to national and international researchers from universities, hospitals, industry and others.
We provide access to:
- Clinical MR scanner: 3T Siemens Skyra
- Preclinical MR scanner: 7T Bruker Biospec (small animal MRI)
- 600MHz NMR spectrometer with Sample Jet and cryoprobe
- 600MHz NMR spectrometer with MAS probe head
- Bruker Minispec NMR spectrometer
