The Future is Bright

The Future is Bright

The Future is Bright

If all people, starting today, put all available resources, creativity and energy into solving the nature and climate crisis, what would Trondheim and Norway look like in 2035?

In The Future is Bright you meet people who have travelled through time to 2035. They are here to tell you how we solved the climate crisis. The society they describe is not bleak, but a good place to be, where we live in harmony with nature and each other.

The contributors belong to leading international climate research communities at

NTNU, and engaged activist representing a variety of environmental organizations, as well as Sami minority culture.

The exhibition includes the installation The Last Tour, which was produced as a collaboration between the Natural History Museum in Oslo and the Øya Festival. The Last Tour presents the sound of four endangered bird species currently found in the Norwegian wild.

In a bright future, they are still there.
