Take a little break in our cozy lunch room in the basement under our exhibitions. Here you can eat food and drink you have brought with you. The room is located near the toilets and wardrobe.

The lunch room contains a photo exhibition of birds and animals shown eating their food. There are also native Norwegian animals and archeological objects on display.

Our bookshelves contain a selection of children's books about nature and culture, and the innermost corner contains an area where you can draw if you like.

During periods when there are many school and kindergarten visitors, there may be a wait before a place to eat becomes available. Contact the museum hosts when you arrive to arrange for your lunch break.
