Accepted abstracts

Accepted abstracts

We have received a large number of abstracts for oral presentation, and we are very grateful for all your contributions. Even with three parallel sessions we could only accept about half of them. All the abstracts submitted with an acceptable scientific quality and relevance for the conference has been given the opportunity to present a poster instead.

Your acceptance email stated that "Your co-authors needs to register through the registration site OIKOS 2018". This does of course not mean that we require that your co-authors come to the conference, just that if they would like to come, they will have to register separately through our registration site.

Abstract submission

Abstract submission

Oral presentations will be given 15 min for the talk and then 3 minutes for questions and 2 minutes for change of room. All posters will be on display througout the conference and presented during one of two poster sessions.

Abstract format

You will be asked to submit an abstract of your talk or poster with maximum 250 words in English. The title of your presentation should be limited to maximum 20 words. You will be asked to choose between oral presentation or poster. The number of oral presentations at the conference will be limited and if you choose “oral” but your abstract is not accepted for oral presentation, you will be given the choice of presenting a poster instead if your abstract is of sufficient scientific quality and relevant to the conference.

You will be asked to provide up to six keywords for your presentation. These keywords will be used to group the presentations into a session with other talks or posters with similar topics. Therefore you should keep your keywords relatively general, and they may repeat words in your title or abstract as long as they are descriptive of your work.

There is a separate page in the abstracts portal for adding all authors of the presented work and assignment of affiliations and order. You may submit only one abstract to the conference (but you may of course be co-author on other abstracts submitted).
