9 strategic professorships at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

The Faculty of Information Technology and Engineering (IE) at NTNU, with more than 900 employees and 7100 students across eight departments in three campus cities, is Norway’s largest university faculty for digital technologies, mathematical sciences, and electrical engineering. The faculty's vision, “Creating a smart, safe and sustainable future”, contributes to NTNU’s vision “Knowledge for a better world”. 

To support these visions, IE hereby announces up to nine strategic professorships across seven departments. We seek highly talented scholars with a reputation for excellent research, and a commitment to develop excellent learning and teaching. Cross-disciplinary collaboration is also an important goal.

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is the primary Norwegian university in engineering and technology. NTNU represents academic eminence in technology and the natural sciences as well as in other academic disciplines ranging from the social sciences, arts and humanities, medicine, teacher education, to architecture.
