RKBU Central Norway will develop and disseminate knowledge that can contribute to service improvement and innovative practices that are for the benefit of children and young people.

Through research, RKBU Central Norway shall contribute to increased knowledge about children and young people who are at risk or who lives in conditions that could harm their health and development. The research will provide increased insight into the situation of these children and adolescents, and help to provide them with better care, help and treatment, as well as a safe upbringing.

RKBU Central Norway's research includes both own research and knowledge development, in addition to systematsation of knowledge, competence and user experiences.
