Ship Technology Research - Schiffstechnik

The journal SHIP TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH / SCHIFFSTECHNIK is an international platform for research in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering which is published three times a year. In 1952 Prof. Dr. Kurt Wendel founded the journal with its former title SCHIFFSTECHNIK, that quickly gained its reputation, first in Germany, then worldwide. In 1990, Prof. Dr. Wendel passed on the chief editor position to Prof. Dr. Heinrich Söding. Due to its international recognition he extended the title to Ship Technology Research / Schiffstechnik and published exclusively in English. Since 2015, the University of Duisburg-Essen teamed up with Maney to publish the journal. For full details and submission, please visit the journal website:
