With its more than 43 000 students, NTNU is Norway's largest university, and has the main
national responsibility for education and research in engineering and technology. 

 

NTNU is an internationally oriented univeristy, with a main profile is science and technology, a variety of programmes of professional study, and great academic breadth that also includes the humanities, social sciences, economics, medicine, health sciences, educational science, architecture, entrepreneurship, art disciplines and artistic activities. 

More than 8% of NTNU students are international, from 121 countries. Prospective students have several options, including full-degree or exchange studies, doctorates and more. Read more below.

NTNU offers more than 60 international master's programmes taught entirely in English, as. In addition, we offer a number of double and joint degrees in cooperation with other institutions.

International students who fulfill the Norwegian language requirements may attend one of our many bachelor or master's degree programmes taught in Norwegian.
