About BIGEOMAT

About Bachelor in Geomatics

On Bachelor in Geomatics you learn to combine information technology with geographic data, GPS and land survey data.

You learn:

  • to collect geographical data, systematise and model it, and use the data in statistics and analysis
  • 3D modelling to visualise and analyse landscapes
  • to measure, map and use advanced technology (for example drones, laser scanners) to plan, monitor and visualise various building- and road projects
  • basic engineering subjects such as mathematics, physics and statistics, as well as programming and data bases

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
