Course content

The course is given every second year, next time fall 2010. The course offers a theoretical and hands on introduction to project evalualuation, emphasizing generic knowledge and approcahes that are generally applicable to all types of projects. Key words: Interdisciplinary assessment based on both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Different types of evaluations are discussed, purpose, design, focus, evaluation models, data collection, analysis, quality assurance and reporting.

Learning outcome

The learning objective is to provide candidates with a basic understanding of common terminology, principles and methods for planning and implementation of project evaluations.

Learning methods and activities

The course includes an introductory seminar, self guided literature study, and a case analysis as basis for course examination.
