About the course

Course content

The students will receive a defined syllabus in central methods used in the different branches of SHE, designed for the individual PhD subject. They shall in addition write a report using this knowledge on a real situation.The course leader can decide if courses at other norwegian or foreign universities can be accepted/fulfill syllabus- and exame requirements.

Learning outcome

The course will give the students basic introduction into actual scientific methods used in the different branches of SHE research.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and individual guidance. Mandatory activity: Written report and participation in guidance hours.

The course will be given every other year, next time spring 2011.
