Course content

The course will develop the students’ ability to assess, comment on and discuss research literature, and select relevant theoretical literature for their master’s project. The students will work with their teachers and supervisors in selecting relevant literature.

Learning outcome

The student
- has thorough knowledge of the research literature within the self-chosen topic
- can comment on and assess relevant research literature related to the topic
- can place the selected literature within the research context
- can analyze and discuss central research questions within the relevant topic

Learning methods and activities

Seminars, discussion groups, summaries from literature readings and discussions. A more specific description of work requirements will be available for each line of study.

  • Literature review
  • Participation in meetings and working groups

Admission to the programme Master in Educational studies is required (MFAGD)
