About the course
Course content
This course focuses on the behaviour of households and firms under various economic constraints. We also discuss how markets work under free competition and monopoly, while other market structures are discussed more briefly.
Learning outcome
The students should be able to explain concepts central to microeconomic analysis and be able to analyze simple research questions by figure discussions or mathematical analysis.
Learning methods and activities
2 hours of lectures per week, and 2 hours of practical assignment every second week.
Compulsory activity: 1 approved term paper. The term paper can be written as a joint project by up to four students.

- One approved term paper.

SØK1000 and SØK1001.
