Course content

This course is designed for students who are exempted from Experts in teamwork due to relevant education or practice. The course involves self study and specialization within a subject of the student's own choice which is relevant to the student's master's thesis. Readings are selected and approved in consultation with a member of staff.

Learning outcome

The course gives the opportunity to self study and a deeper understanding of a subject area of the student's own choice within literature, grammar or civilization.

Learning methods and activities

Supervision, individually or in groups. Assessment: a term paper of approximately 2500 words.

Admission to the Master's programme in English, European Studies, French or German.

Approved reading list. The reading list must not overlap with subjects that the student has previously taken.
