Course content

Students with special interest fields are given the opportunity to conduct a self-taught study within a chosen field of study.

Learning outcome

Explain scientific working Methods.
Find and acquire new knowledge in an engineering field that provides specialization
Present a study in a specialization theme. The student will propose and receive approved learning outcomes.

Specific conditions

Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Civil engineering (FTHINGBY)

Required previous knowledge

The course is offered only after approved application to the group leader. Application is only granted in special cases. The student must be admitted to the 3rd year bachelor civil engineering NTNU Trondheim (FTHINGBY) or as an immigrant / international student NTNU Trondheim.

Course materials

The student must apply for literature to support the subject.
