Learning outcome

Students will complete a master's thesis within the field.

Use scientific methods in the implementation of an independent work in the field.

Students will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and write a thesis in accordance with established standards.

General competence:
Documented scientific qualifications through completion of a master's thesis in the field.

Learning methods and activities

Individual supervision. Form of assessment: Thesis. The thesis should be written in English.

Specific conditions

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Geotechnics and Geohazards (MSGEOTECH)
Geotechnology (MTTEKGEO)
Hydropower Development (MSB1)

Required previous knowledge

Requires admission to the study programme Hydropower Development (MSB1), or approval from the person with course responsibility.
