About the course
Course content
An introduction to organisational theory, the importance of multi-perspective analysis, establishment and change of organisational structures, production forms and communication, inter-organisational theory, interaction betwen firms and the environment, projects and project management, the process from needs to project specifications, project organisation. As a part of the exercises, students are also taughtadvanced theories regarding groups and group development.
Learning outcome
The course will give an introduction to theories on the organisation of firms and projects.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and written excercises. The excercises are compulsory and done in groups. Together, they count for 40% of the mark. A written examination at the end of the course constitutes the other 60% of the mark. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may change from written to oral.

TIØ4100 Organization and Environment (see course description for 2008/2009) or similar background.
