Course content
Topics in work and organizational psychology: History of work and organizational psychology. Research methods. Vocational interests and career values; recruitment, selection and placement; training, socialization and development, job design and redesign, job satisfaction, work motivation, performance appraisal and causes of job performance, stress and coping with stress. Organizational goal, structure and environment, organization culture, decision theory and methods, work groups and teamwork, leadership; internal and external communication in organizations; change and development in organizations.
Learning outcome
Give scientific knowledge in industrial and organizational psychology, as a basis for further studies, research and practice.
Learning methods and activities
If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
