About the course
Course content
The course covers topics within demand/supply, consumer choice, production theory, markets (perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly), pricing, forecasting, auctions and game theory.
Learning outcome
This course will give the students an introduction to managerial economics with basis in industrial cases.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and mandatory exercises. In the evaluation 60% comes from the final exam (written) and 40% from a written excercise during the semester. The result of the two parts is given in %-points, while the final grade is given in letters. Postponed/repeated exams may be oral.
