About the course
Course content
Strategy and International Business Development is a specialization that focuses on problems associated with the fields strategy, international marketing, mangement and development of global value chains and innovation and product development processes
that strengthen the international competitiveness of firms. The course should contain the following two courses: TIØ9 International Business Development and TIØ24 Research methods.
Learning outcome
The project's learning objectives are that the students shall be able to analyse and solve problems related to strategy and development of firm's international activities. It is expected that the students have insight and understanding of the relevant literature on the area and are able to solve practical management challenges with a scientific and reliable method.
Learning methods and activities
The courses consists of lectures and seminars. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
Required previous knowledge
The specialization requires TIØ4265 - Strategic Management and TIØ4235 - International Business Development. TIØ4180 - Innovation Management is recommended. The students must also choose TIØ4562 - Strategy and International Business Development FDP.
