About the course

Course content

The course is a further specialization within relevant subjects of Project Management and builds on subjects presented in the obligatory courses in the 1st year of the Master Programme in Project Management. The choice of subjects for the seminar may vary from one year to another, and is linked to the problems which need to be solved in the Specialization project chosen in TIØ5230 Project Management; Specialization Project.

Learning outcome

The goal of the theory subjects is to allow students to specialize within a particular branch of project management, and to build further knowlege on specific themes from the courses in the 1st year of the Master of Science in Project Management.

Learning methods and activities

The student need to participate in five seminars which together will constitute the necessary 7.5 ECTS. Attendance at the seminars is obligatory. The re-sit exam for the theory subjects is arranged at the end of the same exam period as the ordinary exam.

Required previous knowledge

Students taking this course must also take TIØ5230 Project Management, Specialization Project. The student must have a background that corresponds to at least five of the six obligatory courses of the Master of Science in Project Management.
