Operation of computer systems

This programme is meant for Scandinavian speaking students.

With a specialization in network administration, you learn to plan and set up virtual machines using technologies like VMWare and HyperV. You furthermore meet the demands of the market by acquiring knowledge about Linux, Windows Server, Cloud Computing, and security and surveillance in digital infrastructure.

You work in teams from day one and much of the programme is taught as projects and problem solving.

Teaching is done in rooms that are designed for student-active learning and you will be closely follow-upped by teachers.  


Admission

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to  apply to any of NTNU's degree programmes. You also must meet the basic requirement for admission, and demonstrate that you meet the English language requirements.

The application deadline for the programme is March 1st for students with an international degree, and April 15th for Norwegian and Nordic degree students. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
