The field has traditionally been an interdisciplinary research area where professionals such as engineers, economists, organizational theorists, psychologists, informatics and others have worked
This interdisciplinary research works towards acquiring knowledge of what characterizes interaction processes where there is a codependency between users, systems and the coordination and facilitation of the work itself.
