The bachelor's degree programme in Archive and Collection Managemnet connects knowledge from three subject areas: archival science, museology and IT/informatics.

This study is aimed at those who want to learn more about questions such as; what do we perserve of information and documents from the society around us. It also applies to those who are working - or want to work - with documentation- and cultural management in the public and private sectors, in for instance archives or museums.

The joint anchoring in archives, museums and informatics is providing the study with width and topical relevance at the same time. As a student on this programme you would get a special and demanded competence in management of documentation and culture with new technology and new media.

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

You also must meet the basic requirement for admission, and demonstrate that you meet the English language requirements.

The application deadline for the programme is April 20th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
